University of Lancashire – Partner Students
Student support combines academic resources, digital access, careers support, and campus facilities for partner students.
Learning and IT support
· Full University Library membership, alongside your partner institution’s library.
· Access to book loans, 500,000 e-books, 100,000 e-journals, specialist subject resources, and LinkedIn Learning courses.
· Library support desks, bookable study spaces, laptops, software, computer/network access, and IT/AV equipment loans.
· The Preston library is open 24/7 during term time. Books can be delivered to a college library through VALNOW or to a chosen address through the Distance Learning Service.
Student access and administration
· A University account provides access to the student portal, email, library catalogue, e-resources, and password-reset services.
· A student card enables access to Preston Campus facilities and is issued once the student record is activated.
· Completing enrolment and registration by the deadlines is important because delays can affect student status, service access, finance payments, and award eligibility.
Careers and wellbeing-related facilities
· Careers support includes an Achievement and Careers Platform with career inspiration, AI CV reviews, AI mock interviews, and career-learning pathways.
· Partner students can join the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre, with gym equipment, fitness classes, sports clubs, and court hire.
