Myerscough has been named a finalist in the Skills Provider of the Year category in this year's Be Inspired Business Awards, with the winners being announced at a ceremony at The Blackpool Tower Ballroom on September 19th.

Myerscough made the shortlist following a vigorous judging process which included a detailed written submission, and an interview last week in front of a panel of business experts and leaders from across the county.

The finalists are:

Skills Provider of the Year

Myerscough College and University Centre

Blackburn College

Blackpool & The Fylde College

Burnley College

Myerscough College

Runshaw College

Springfields Fuels

West Lancs College

Organised by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, and referred to as 'the one they all want to win', the BIBAs have been putting businesses through their paces since the competition opened in January.

Headline sponsor Lancashire County Council were amongst hundreds of judges who took part in the interviews at Deepdale last week – and the finalists are all ready to do battle next month when the BIBAs on Tour hits the road, with the judges visiting Myerscough in mid-June.

Damian Walmsley, partner at MHA, sponsors of Medium Business of the Year, said: “The calibre of this year’s BIBAs finalists is nothing short of outstanding. These businesses and individuals represent the very best of Lancashire – resilient, innovative, and relentlessly ambitious.

‘’Each finalist should be incredibly proud of their achievements and the example they set for our thriving business community.

“Recognition at this level isn’t just a pat on the back—it’s a mark of excellence. These finalists have not only excelled in their own industries but also contributed significantly to Lancashire’s economic and social vibrancy. Their stories deserve to be celebrated.’’
