Studying golf unlocks the door to a rewarding and exciting career in a sport that spans the globe and is played by more than 60 million people worldwide. Golf is now a profession with a recognised career structure and fantastic employment opportunities both in the UK and overseas. Many of our past students are enjoying great success in all areas of this expanding industry, from professional players and coaches to education, events management and sales and marketing.
If you are serious about the golf business then there is no better place to study than at Myerscough College’s International Institute for Golf Education, in partnership with the University of Central Lancashire.
Our golf academy is overseen by experienced golf coaches and PGA Professionals with real-world experience of the game. Add to this regular visits from professional golfers and those working in the industry and it's easy to see why our learners are consistently progressing to excellent careers in the golfing industry.
Learners on our golf programmes have the opportunity to take part in trips to Villa Moura for warm weather performance camps, working opportunities at the Turkish Open Golf and much more. A student team also takes part in a regular competition with Ohio State University.
Former Myerscough students can be found playing and working at some of the finest golf courses in the world. From tour organisers and golf course managers to PGA Professionals, the Myerscough College golfing alumni has the lot!
